New recorder saves pounds

Compact and fully programmable, Foxwell’s new recorder is a money saver.

Starting at £763 for the 1-pen version, it is up to 40% cheaper than the competition, we are told.

At 64m, chart rolls are nearly three times longer than standard rolls.

The unit’s installed depth is just 215mm with an IP54 standard bezel and stainless steel casing. Set-up is by pushbutton dialogue or a PC.

The Brooks Industrial model 3810 metal tube variable area flowmeter is a low-cost alternative to glass tube meters for measuring flow in gas, liquid and steam, says supplier Flotech.

It has all-metal construction, 316 stainless steel wetted parts, and screwed or flanged versions. Accuracy is Class 6 VDE/VDI from full-scale to 10% of scale reading.

With a 4-20mA output, Rosemount’s DIN-rail version of its Hart-based temperature transmitter has the same performance as the head-mounted version including 0.03% accuracy and stability rating of 0.1% of reading.

The model 644ER works with all the main temperature sensor inputs, providing an output signal linear with temperature for RTDs or thermocouples.
