VenturCom’s Component Integrator tool, which is said to enable real time embedded configurations of Windows NT to run in footprints of less than 8Mb RAM and 10Mb hard disk or FLASH, is now on general release.

Tellima Technology’s Paul Wilson, who’s handling the tool in the UK, says that its real time extensions guarantee deterministic response better than 50 sec.

The tool has a point and click’ GUI plus a knowledge base of NT components and their dependencies, so you can select a minimum NT for an embedded application and integrate it with off-the-shelf and custom software.
