Minerva claims a first for sales force automation

Systems integrator Minerva will demonstrate Cameleon Visual Selling sales force automation software at the CIM Show.

The software was developed by French firm Access Productique. Working within the MFG/PRO environment, it is said to be the first package to integrate an opportunity management system, sales analysis system and interactive selling system to service a mobile sales force. Minerva has entered it for the CIM Best Product award.


McGuffie Brunton, a manufacturing resource planning software supplier, claims a lead over rivals with its Impact Encore 3.2. It is an interactive Web-enabled version of its Windows-based accounting, distribution and manufacturing system.

A key feature is the set of Web applications for secure data transfer and electronic commerce.


Primavera, described by developer and distributor Mass Systems as the leading project management software, is a range of integrated, scaleable products for planning, organising, controlling and co-ordinating projects.

The flagship Primavera product, P3, can be used to manage multiple projects in a multi-user environment and can control large, complex projects.


Business intelligence software from Cognos gives everyone in an organisation access to the data that is important to them, and the ability to see it in any combination, the company says.

The Cognos software suite covers database reporting, multi-dimensional data analysis, data mining, analytical data modelling/ forecasting and extraction analysis and reporting tools for SAP R/3.


Industrial & Financial Systems’ enterprise resource planning package, IFS Applications, is aimed at market sectors such as the automotive industry.

Its software, based on Oracle and object technologies, provides an ERP backbone for legacy data in mixed-mode or make-to-order production environments.
