Roy Stanley, managing director of e2A and the Express Group, has called on industrialists in the north of England to support a new private sector funded training and development centre. The post-school Centre for Excellence, to be built at Tanfield Lea in County Durham, already has the backing of local partners including Aerospace Systems & Technology and Radford Shelving Systems. A programme has been developed to secure capital and revenue funding towards the £1m needed for the entire project
