Omni-Pac, producer of moulded fibre packaging, has purchased a Linkmaster 2000 network, from Pascall Electronics.

The Linkmaster 2000 network has been installed at its Great Yarmouth factory to monitor process conditions on site.

The first task for the Linkmaster 2000 network is to transmit freshwater usage data from three systems in one factory building to a recorder in the process control workshop.

Phil Jackson, from OmniPac, needed a system flexible enough to be used on many different duties, picking up data from several sites for a couple of weeks.

The data gained allows Omni-Pac to pinpoint times of high water consumption, and to identify areas of waste in order to improve efficiency.
