Manufacturing may still be suffering from the strong pound, but optimism is returning – if demand for space at Manufacturing Week is a guide.
Bookings for the show, the UK’s largest exhibition for engineers and technical managers from all sectors, have been running at record levels with many leading names exhibiting again after several years’ absence.
Among those returning are leading bearing maker NSK-RHP, back at the show for the first time in seven years, and Loctite, back after four years away. Many others are using the show to launch new products, reflecting its importance as a marketing event.
Manufacturing Week gives engineers and designers an unrivalled opportunity to inspect at close quarters the latest production equipment and to talk to potential suppliers about their needs and possible solutions.
Manufacturing Week has three sections: DES, the Design Engineering Show; APME, the Automation, Production and Maintenance Equipment show; and VED, the Vehicle Engineering and Design show.
