Claimed to be the world’s first Coriolis flowmeter for the measurement of high viscosity fluids and slurries in a piggable’ straight tube, Endress + Hauser’s Promass I comes with a patented oscillating sensor.

Its Torsion Mode Balanced system means that the meter can be installed directly into the pipeline without supports or brackets. It’s a reassuring fit and forget’ approach to Coriolis metering.

Promass I’s sensor sizes are 8 50mm, with wetted parts in titanium. The tube can be polished for hygienic and aseptic duties and comes with a wide range of connections for direct insertion in pipeline or tanker outlet.

It has been accepted for legal custody transfer weight measurement by OIML and is ideal for applications such as yoghurt with fruit, blood plasma and paint, featuring no sheer, clogging or cavitation, and low differential pressure.
