Vauxhall will be unveiling its compact van concept (CVC) at the Detroit Motor Show in January. The vehicle is one of nine General Motors concepts planned for launch at motor shows next year and builds on the Zafira compact van. The CVC was designed at the Vauxhall/Opel International Technical Development Centre in Russelheim, Germany. It features a 2.2 litre, 150bhp direct-injection aluminium engine with a five-speed gear box. Designed with winter in mind, the four-wheel drive van features 18 inch wheels as well as a toboggan which packs into the rear hatch.
