Consultant engineer WSP has acquired Graham Consulting for £3.6m, creating an engineering consultancy with a turnover of some £50m and a workforce of 1,300. Up to £30m of WSP’s fee income comes from structural and mechanical engineering. Graham concentrates on civil engineering, with 33% of its business overseas. In the nine months to last December, Graham made £297,000 pre-tax on £20m turnover. Its main operating companies are Frank Graham Consulting Engineers, Coode Blizzard, and O’Sullivan & Graham.
