A£200m scheme to help young inventors turn their ideas into businesses has been launched by the Government.

The National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts (Nesta) will have an £10m annual income drawn from a £200m national lottery endowment.

The first eight Nesta schemes include Young Entrepreneurs, a project run by the Young Engineers organisation to help people aged between 16-19 turn inventions into products. The scheme includes classes in innovation, communication and creative skills.
