A new information network, that bridges the gap between automation systems and manufacturing IT, will make the difference between success and failure.
Leading British engineering publisher Centaur has come up with an exciting new concept, which provides an information platform for integrating business and manufacturing systems. Centaur has identified the need for a comprehensive information source dedicated to the emerging technologies in the manufacturing sector. The result is the Integrated Manufacturing Solutions Network. A network dedicated solely to the promotion of effective enterprise wide solutions.
The concept has been developed because the very fundamentals of manufacturing are changing. And this dramatic change can be seen in virtually every sector of industry. Business and manufacturing practices are being integrated and the resulting systems will make all the difference between success and failure in the demanding and competitive business environment of the future.
The Integrated Manufacturing Solutions Network has three main components. Integrated Manufacturing Solutions is a magazine aimed at senior management seeking better business agility. IMS will be published four times a year with its launch issue being published in October 2000.
Integrated Automation Solutions is an event bringing together everyone involved in the enterprise planning process from engineers to finance directors. IAS will be held annually, the first showing is planned for May 2001 at Birmingham’s NEC.
e4integration.com is a website which will provide a dedicated forum, enabling visitors to source the latest information on suppliers, tools, applications and techniques for an enterprise wide process. The site will be on air this Autumn.
