Ceva reports 11 per cent revenue increase

Ceva, a licensor of silicon intellectual property platform solutions, has announced first-quarter revenue of $10.6m (£6.9m), an increase of 11 per cent compared to the $9.5m reported for the first quarter of 2009.

Licensing revenue was $4.7m, an increase of four per cent over $4.5m in first-quarter 2009.

Royalty revenue was a record $5m, an increase of 32 per cent over the $3.8m reported for the first quarter of 2009.

Revenue from services for the first quarter of 2010 was $0.9m, a 26 per cent decrease compared to the $1.2m reported for the prior-year quarter.
