ISSI posts second quarter revenue

Fabless semiconductor company Integrated Silicon Solution (ISSI) has reported that revenue in the second fiscal quarter 2010 was $57m (£37m), a 12.8 per cent increase from revenue of $50.6m in the December 2009 quarter and an 82.5 per cent increase from revenue of $31.3m in the March 2009 quarter.  

Gross margin for the second quarter was 37.2 per cent, compared with gross margin of 39.8 per cent in the December 2009 quarter and 20.7 per cent in the March 2009 quarter.

The company’s net income in the second quarter of fiscal 2010 was $7.2m, or $0.27 per diluted share, compared with net income for the December 2009 quarter of $7.2m, or $0.28 per diluted share, and a net loss for the March 2009 quarter of $3.8m, or $0.15 per diluted share.
