Trico sells North Sea-class vessel

Trico Marine Services, a provider of marinesupport vessels to the offshore oil and gas industry, has sold one of its North Sea-class vessels for approximately $16m (£10m) to a buyer in Asia, bringing the total in asset-sale proceeds since the beginning of the year to approximately $20m.

The company also announced contract awards for its Deep Ocean and CTC Marine subsea service divisions, which amount to more than $25m in value.

Deep Ocean was contracted for a long-term frame agreement with a major oil company that involves structural and pipeline inspection in the UK and Norwegian sectors of the North Sea.

CTC Marine received an offshore renewable-energy contract in the North Sea, for which it will load out and install powered cable, and provide the associated survey works, trenching scope and stabilisation work.
