Star Flyer airline orders two Airbus A320 aircraft

Japanese value airline Star Flyer has signed a firm contract with Airbus for the purchase of two A320s.

Star Flyer currently operates five leased A320s but this order is the airline’s first aircraft purchase.

The new aircraft will feature 144 to 150 seats in a single-class layout and are powered by CFM56-5B4/P engines.

Star Flyer intends to use the new jets to increase frequencies and to open new routes in Japan and to Korea.
