A business advisory firm is looking for buyers for an engineering company that specialises in the design and installation of pipework after it hit financial difficulties.
Cooper Parry, which has offices in Leicester, Derbyshire and Nottingham, is selling Engineering Services (Humber) after the business went into administration with the loss of 41 jobs.
Joint administrators Tyrone Courtman and Nick Edwards, of Cooper Parry, said they had received a few enquiries and were looking to sell the business, or parts of it, as a going concern.
Engineering Services (Humber), based in Retford, Nottinghamshire, was formed in 1964 and specialises in the design, supply, fabrication and installation of plastic pipe systems. Its clients have included the Olympic Village, the London Dome, Robin Hood Airport, HM Prisons and Balfour Beatty.
