NASA awards $51 million contract for engineering services

NASA has awarded a cost-plus-award-fee contract valued at approximately $51 million to ASRC Aerospace Corporation to support engineering design and hardware developmental programs and projects.

NASA’s Ames Research Center (ARC), California, has awarded a cost-plus-award-fee contract worth $51 million to ASRC Aerospace Corporation.

ASRC will provide on-site support services for a variety of engineering design and hardware developmental programs and projects at ARC. Under the terms of the contract, the requirements will be stated in performance-based contract task orders.

The contract is expected to last five-years, consisting of a two-year base period followed by three one-year options.

ASRC will begin its phase-in operations in September 2003. Full contract responsibility begins October 1, 2003, and continues through to September 30, 2008.
