EDF extends contracts with Carillion

Support services company Carillion has been awarded a five-year extension to its existing contracts with energy distribution company EDF Energy Networks, worth £40m a year.

Carillion’s existing four-year contracts with EDF Energy Networks, which began in 2007, are being extended for a further five years from January 2011.

Under these contract extensions, Carillion will deliver infrastructure services for substations and cabling to support the electricity network in the east of England.
