SAIC gets US comms order

Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) has announced it has been awarded a task order under a contract with the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), National Communications System (NCS) to provide continued system engineering and programme management to help transition legacy communications systems to next-generation network technology.

The task order has a one-year base period of performance, a single one-year option and a total estimated value of more than $13m (£8.2m) if the option is exercised.
