Science Applications wins DHS task order

Engineering services provider Science Applications has been awarded a task order by the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), National Exercise Division (NED) to design and support national-level exercises to evaluate catastrophic earthquake preparedness.

The task order has a five-month base period of performance and a single one-year option, and is valued at more than $12m (£8m) if the option is exercised.

Work will be performed throughout the US.
