GE Capital Aviation Services orders 10 Boeing aircraft

Aerospace and defence company Boeing and GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of General Electric, have finalised a firm order for two 747-8 Freighters and eight 777-300ERs (extended range) aircraft.

The order, which was first announced during the Paris Air Show in June, is valued at $2.9bn (£1.6bn).
