CBAM wins $180m air-pollution control contract from US utility

Clyde Bergemann Power Group Americas (CBAM) has been awarded a $180m (£114m) contract for air-pollution control from a major US utility.

The company is to engineer, supply and commission 12 pulse jet fabric filters for particulate control.

CBAM will also provide 12 powder-activated carbon injection systems for mercury mitigation and six dry sorbent injection systems for sulphuric acid mist mitigation for 12 coal-fired boilers with a combined 5,000MW of generating capacity.
