EnerMech set to invest £5m in Saudi Arabia expansion

Mechanical engineering group EnerMech has signed a joint venture agreement with Shoaibi Group to form EnerMech Saudi Arabia (EnerMech SA) and will invest up to £5m, and create 40 jobs, as part of its expansion into the country.

EnerMech SA will provide cranes, hydraulics, valves, process, pipelines and umbilicals (PPU), lifting and inspection services, equipment rental and specialist training to the Saudi Arabian energy sector, including oil, gas and petrochemicals.

The joint venture agreement will see EnerMech and Shoaibi Group share office and warehousing facilities in Al Khobar.
