ROVOP set to use funding to explore growth opportunities

ROVOP, a supplier of remotely operated vehicles to the offshore oil and gas and renewable sectors, has secured £60,000 in public sector funding from Scottish Enterprise and Scottish Development International.

The cash boost is intended to help Aberdeenshire-based ROVOP to explore international business growth opportunities and to undertake business improvement activities. Specifically, the money will enable the company to hire a manager for international business development opportunities.

This latest support follows Scotland’s finance minister John Swinney announcing an investment from the Scottish Loan Fund (SLF) of £1.6m for the company, with an option to draw down up to £5m in total.
