Sparrows, a provider of offshore lifting and mechanical handling services, has invested £2m in new offices and workshop facilities to accommodate its growing workforce.
The new premises, situated at Foveran House in the Bridge of Don, Scotland, comprises more than 1,000m² of office accommodation, with 635m² of workshop space. In addition, in excess of 2,000m² of yard space will house Sparrows’ new specialist mechanical workshop.
Approximately 150 people will be based at Foveran House, with functions including project and electrical teams, supply chain and learning and development.
Sparrows specialises in offshore lifting, crane engineering and services, mechanical handling, pipe- and cable-laying systems, fluid power engineering, equipment rentals and competence training.
