Brüel & Kjær EMS lands Burbank Airport project

In a competitive bid process that took more than 18 months to complete, the Brüel & Kjær EMS team was chosen to replace the Noise and Flight Track Management System (NFTMS) for the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority.

The new five-year contract includes the installation of 20 new Brüel & Kjær 3639 Noise-Monitoring Terminals, backed by Brüel & Kjær’s Airport Noise and Operations Management System (ANOMS) and WebTrak, the public-facing flight-tracking utility.

The project, which began in November, will last nine months and includes all permits, hardware installation, conversion of legacy-system data, system testing and a year’s warranty on the NFTMS solution.

Once complete the ANOMS System will be supported by Brüel & Kjær’s local and global Noise Office Support Team that manages more than 250 airport NFTMS solutions worldwide.
