Conductix-Wampfler to supply metro systems in Canada

Salford-based mobile energy company Conductix-Wampfler has secured two contracts in Canada to supply metro systems in Toronto and Montreal.

The Montreal contract will see 42 Pendant Switchable Trolleys (PSTs) — part of Conductix-Wampfler’s Shoresafe range of shore supply equipment — installed at the Youville Depot.

A final design review is due to take place in January 2012, before work begins on the site in April.

In Toronto, the firm has begun discussions on the third phase of a project to extend and upgrade Wilson Yard, which will take Conductix-Wampfler’s total tally of PSTs installed at the site to 50.
