Cable-Sense secures £800,000 in investment from two funds

Cable-Sense has secured £800,000 in funding from the North West Fund for Energy & Environmental, managed by CT Investment Partners, and UMIP Premier Fund, managed by MTI Partners.

The company has developed an intelligent infrastructure management system that helps organisations to enhance the management of their cable networks, reducing energy, capital expenditure and operational costs while improving the utilisation of assets and service levels.

Cable-Sense, which aims to expand overseas and triple its turnover by 2014, has been working closely with the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at Manchester University to bring its products to market over the past few years.
