Flexenclosure, a developer of power management systems and modular data centres for the telecommunications industry, has opened an office in Cyberjaya, Malaysia’s ICT hub situated just south of Kuala Lumpar.
This follows the opening of four other offices in 2012 in Gurgaon, India; Lagos, Nigeria; Islamabad, Pakistan; and Dubai, UAE.
The Malaysian office will cover the Asia-Pacific region — which is said to be the largest telecommunications market in the world.
There are many base-station sites in the region without a reliable grid connection. With a growing telecommunications market, the next billion mobile-phone users are mostly expected to come from rural markets, where Flexenclosure’s energy-saving products will be required to provide cost-effective services.
