Saab signs five-year extension deal with Braathens Regional

Defence and security company Saab has signed a five-year extension contract with Braathens Regional for the supply of components for the Saab 2000 aircraft.

The contract — valued at SEK90m (£8.4m) — covers the repair and supply of components and maintenance services for the Saab 2000.

The deal is within the framework of a programme in which the customer receives replacement components while components are either sent for inspection or repair.

Golden Air Flyg — which will be changing its name to Braathens Regional on 1 January 2013 — is a regional company operating out of the Trollhättan-Vänersborg Airport in Sweden.
