National Instruments and Dell Computers, both based in Austin Texas, have announced the availability of workstations preloaded with instrumentation software. Initially available for engineers and scientists in the USA, the equipment will be shipping in the first quarter of 2000.
“Working with Dell is a natural fit,” said Dr James Truchard, President and CEO of National Instruments. “The sales and marketing models of both companies are nearly identical, and many of National Instruments customers already use our products in Dell computers. Also, having National Instruments technologies installed at the Dell factory simply makes it easier to build and configure computer-based measurement systems.
Technical specifications for the workstations are available at www.ni.com.
