Boeing Shanghai signs Pudong Airport maintenance contracts

Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services has signed agreements with both Russia-based S7 Airlines and US air-carrier World Airways to perform aircraft maintenance at Pudong International Airport in Shanghai.

The service company will perform heavy maintenance on Boeing 767s operated by S7 under a two-year agreement, as well as A-check maintenance on World Airways’ Boeing 747-400 aircraft, for which the duration has not been disclosed.

Earlier in January, Boeing Shanghai completed its first 747-400 A-check for World Airways.

The first 767 from S7 was inducted at the Boeing Shanghai facility in January.
