Tridos Renewables erects wind turbines at Eye site in Suffolk

Green energy company Tridos Renewables is set to erect two wind turbines at Eye, Suffolk. This marks the company’s ninth renewable energy project and the fourth that has been developed on a brownfield site.

The electricity generated by the turbines, which are due to arrive during the first two weeks of January and be erected over the following three weeks, will power the host industrial site, reducing its carbon footprint.

Expected to be operational later in 2013, the site will generate sufficient green electricity to meet the power needs of the equivalent of 2,830 homes.
