Ultromex secures £550,000 from North West Fund

Ultromex, a company that has developed processes for the recovery of high-value metals from electronic and industrial waste products, has secured £550,000 funding from the North West Fund for Energy and Environmental, which is managed by CT Investment Partners.

The company works with businesses to help them recover high-value metals more efficiently while lowering energy use and emissions. It is currently commercialising processes for the recovery of metals from printed circuit boards, and lead from leaded glass.

Ultromex aims to increase turnover to £10m by 2016.
