Flow sensor applies measurement algorithms

Endress + Hauser’s t-switch and t-trend have been designed for use in monitoring the flow of liquids and gases.

Endress + Hauser has responded to the requirements of its customers in the water, foods and OEM industries, by introducing t-switch and t-trend, which have been designed for use in monitoring the flow of liquids and gases.

The products offer advanced flow measurement algorithms, which allow for both automatic and manual adjustment of meter sensitivity. They monitor flow velocities in liquid and gas and provides an adjustable switch point and 4-20mA trending output.

With no moving parts, these devices can be commissioned via an optional display showing programming information and error codes.

Process connections range from flanged to hygienic couplings. They have EHEDG certification and meet with the sanitary requirements of 3A. Ingress protection to IP66 comes as standard. Prices start at £210.
