Atlas Copco has signed an agreement to acquire the Spanish firm of Puska Pneumatic, which has annual revenues of approximately 11 million Euros and employs 25 people.
The sale price of the acquisition, which is subject to approval by regulatory authorities, was not disclosed.
Puska is a compressor company located in Abadiano Vizcaya in the North of Spain. It sells oil-injected screw and piston compressors, vane compressors and refrigeration dryers and has an established sales and service organisation covering the industrial and automotive markets.
Puska will become part of Industrial Air, a division within Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique business area, but will continue to operate under its established brand name.
Industrial Air acquired the Chinese firm of Liutech in 2002 and Netherlands-based Grassair in 2001.
