Boeing to supply 737-800s to Norwegian Air Shuttle

Aircraft manufacturer Boeing and low-cost carrier Norwegian Air Shuttle have signed an agreement at the Farnborough International Airshow for 15 Boeing 737-800s.

The airline is exercising purchase rights from its 2007 order for 42 Next-Generation 737s.

The new order, which is valued at $1.15bn, increases the airline’s unfilled orders to 59 Next-Generation 737s.
