Rolls-Royce announces revenue increase

Rolls-Royce has presented its 2010 half-yearly results, which show group revenues increasing to £5.42bn and profit before financing standing at £594m.

The group’s order book is up to £58.4bn compared with £58.3bn at year end 2009.

Underlying profit before tax increased by four per cent to £465m and the average net cash for the period improved by £155m to £915m.

The group also highlighted its balance sheet with net cash of £1.38bn at the period end.
