SA wins GSA software contract

Science Applications (SA), a provider of scientific and engineering solutions, has been awarded a $19m (£13m) task order by the General Services Administration (GSA) Greater Southwest Region, an independent agency of the US government, to provide software development and sustainment support of the US Air Force.

The task order, for which work will be performed primarily in San Diego, California, has a one-year base period of performance and three one-year options.

It was awarded under GSA’s Alliant government-wide acquisition contract and requires SAIC to develop and enhance electronic key management system (EKMS) software products related to communications-security (COMSEC) encryption.
