Saab to supply naval surveillance radar to DMO

Defence and security company Saab has received a SEK190m (£16m) order from the Australian Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO) − the Australian Government agency responsible for the acquisition, support and disposal of equipment for the country’s Defence Force − for provision of the Giraffe AMB radar system and related services.

Saab’s naval surveillance radar, Sea Giraffe, is in operational service on the Australian and New Zealand Anzac Class frigates, and the more advanced Sea Giraffe AMB is being supplied for the Australian Canberra class amphibious ships.
