Science Applications wins combat-support contract

Technology company Science Applications has been awarded a task order by the 55th Contracting Squadron (55 CONS), Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska, to support the Joint Electronic Warfare Center in Nevada.

The task order has an 11-month base period of performance, three one-year options and a total value of more than $14m (£9m) if all options are exercised.

The scope of work for the contract, which was awarded under the US Strategic Command Systems and Mission Support II contract, will be performed primarily at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada.

Under the task order, Science Applications will provide support in areas including operational procedure development, service components and combatant command collaboration, plan management, test-plan integration, test-material development and mission-requirement articulation.
