IET issues last call for engineering scholarships

The Institution of Engineering & Technology (IET) − a professional body for those working in engineering and technology in the UK − has issued a last call for entries for the 2010 Ambition Awards, which include a range of undergraduate IT and engineering scholarships and competitions for students, and for the Young Professionals’ Achievement Awards.

This is the last opportunity for current and prospective students on engineering and IT programmes to apply for an undergraduate scholarship worth up to £3,000 a year.

The IET is also seeking nominations for the 2010 Young Professionals’ Achievement Awards, which celebrate the achievements of outstanding young professionals.

These may be individuals who have shown exceptional leadership in developing a project, excelled in the workplace or demonstrated extraordinary commitment to the profession.
