Koso Kent Introl opens third valve factory in Brighouse

Yorkshire-based valve manufacturer Koso Kent Introl (KKI), is making a seven-figure investment in its business to increase manufacturing capacity, improve process efficiencies and maintain quality.

The company has opened a new 18,000ft2 factory in Brighouse, a few hundred yards from its original factory on Armytage Road and its third facility in the town, where it has been based for more than forty years.

As well as housing the aftermarket team, which is responsible for service and spares, this new site also creates additional capacity for scheduled shut-down or maintenance programmes that demand high-volume turnaround in short timescales.

Further works have already started at KKI’s machine shop, which is being reconfigured to accommodate several new pieces of machinery that will allow the company to produce higher volumes in shorter timescales, while reducing waste.
