RSM Tenon helps sell Applied Cooling Technology to STT

Applied Cooling Technology (ACT), along with its subsidiary Britannia Heatex, has been bought out by Buckinghamshire-based Sterling Thermal Technologies (STT), which specialises in combustion and heat-transfer technology.

Business advisory and accountancy firm RSM Tenon helped secure the sale of West Midlands-based ACT and acted for the company’s owner David Pierce.

RSM Tenon’s corporate finance team undertook a marketing exercise for ACT and STT was found to be well suited for the takeover, which went through for an undisclosed sum.

ACT designs and makes heat-exchange equipment for companies in sectors including the rail, marine, power and offshore industries.
