German wind turbine manufacturer PowerWind has sold five wind turbines to the UK and Poland.

Polish customer El Wiatrowa Wola Raciborowska has ordered two PowerWind 56 turbines rated at 900kW.

Their installation in Kutno is scheduled for the third quarter of 2012.

Additionally, three PowerWind 500 turbines with 500kW-rated power are to be installed in the UK by the end of September.

Two of the three wind turbines have been sold to project developer Temporis Wind.

The third turbine will go to Resilient Energy Great Dunkilns, a joint venture community development in the Forest of Dean between the Resilience Centre and local landowner Anthony Cooke.
