The Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE) has launched its Engineering Excellence Awards for consultancy and engineering firms to showcase and promote their work.
The call for entries for the nine, mainly project-based awards is now open, and ACE is inviting submissions for projects that demonstrate a high degree of achievement, value and engineering excellence.
The awards cover the following categories: transport; sustainability; water; low-carbon technology; property; research, studies & consulting; small projects (under £5m), large projects (over £5m); plus engineering ambassador award.
Launching the awards, the chief executive of the London-based agency, Nelson Ogunshakin, said: ‘It’s fitting that in a week when consultancy and engineering firms are prominent in the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For listing, that ACE should launch these prestigious awards which recognise excellence in our sector.
‘These sector-based awards offer a great opportunity for consultancy and engineering firms of all sizes to profile their work. Uniquely they recognise the diversity and breath of ACE’s membership and the wide range of work they carry out, regardless of their size.’
