Watson-Marlow reports annual sales and profit increase

Pumps manufacturer Watson-Marlow has reported its full-year financial results for 2010, in which annual sales reached £103m, up 23 per cent from the previous year’s figure of £83.8m.

Sales benefited from a full year of contribution from the Masosine part of the business acquired in August 2009, which added seven per cent to the sales growth.

The Falmouth-based manufacturer of positive displacement pumps, tubing and accessories also reported an annual operating profit of £30.8m, representing a 38 per cent increase from 2009’s figure of £22.3m.

Watson-Marlow has a global network of facilities and is part of Spirax-Sarco Engineering.
