EPRI, the US-based science and technology organisation for the electricity industry, is offering reports and white papers through the Research Report Centre on Energy Central, a web-based energy news and information resource.
The agreement is part of a strategic alliance formed by the two companies to provide the broader energy industry with access to relevant and useful energy products and information.
‘We are selecting documents from a vast inventory of published reports based on their immediate relevance for electricity industry stakeholders,’ said Anne Kovalski, director of marketing for EPRI.
A survey of current postings reveals subjects of interest to utilities, power marketers, architects and engineers. They include reports on NOx control for generating facilities, ozone use in wastewater treatment; use of distributed resources for power quality and energy infrastructure security. Additional reports will be added on a regular basis to provide guidance in the application, maintenance, and marketing of electricity technology and address power industry environmental issues.
To view EPRI reports on Energy Central, go to the web site at www.energycentral.com and click on Research Report Center.
Newest postings will be listed under ‘New to Energy Central’ on the front page. You may also search by publisher (EPRI) or topic to view report abstracts and more detailed information, such as Table of Contents, Executive Summary, and Introduction.
Reports can be purchased and downloaded directly from the site.
