Northamptonshire-based Team KTM UK is to use bott group products, including workshops and in-vehicle equipment, to prepare for the 2008 motorcross race season. Its 450cc and 250cc SX-F bikes will be assessed at workshops in Holland and onboard the KTM race truck.
Bott is to supply the team with workshop equipment and products including workbenches, cabinets and service cases. It’s in-vehicle signs and graphics division in Leicester have produced and applied new decals and a refitted workshop to the KTM race truck.
Team KTM’s UK’s owner Roger Magee said: ‘Motorcross is one of the most demanding motorsports, so we need to be able to service and repair our bikes rapidly. Having the right workshop equipment is crucial in getting the bikes race-ready, and keeping their performance up during each round of the championships.’
The UK team recently scooped a double win in the MX2 class at the British Motorcross Championships in Kent and are entering the 2008 World Motorcross Championship.
