Secure computing for MOD

The UK Government’s Ministry of Defence is securing sensitive data across RAF, Army and Navy laptops using BeCrypt solutions.

BeCrypt is to provide the DISK Baseline solution with authentication tokens for the MOD’s 20,000 laptops. The solution will be used to securely protect data that is marked up to Restricted and is deployed throughout non-Defence Information Infrastructure (DII) laptops, used by the British Army, Royal Navy and the RAF.

The company was selected due to its ability to deliver solutions quickly, to support the security needs and to enable easier integration with DII laptops and computers in the future.

The DISK Protect Baseline was also selected by the MOD for its DII (C) and DII (F) laptops in 2006.
